BLDC will be holding auditions for our competitive company 2024 - 2025 season on
Tuesday, June 18th at 5:30pm. Our company is broken up mainly by age, but also ability. Please click on the schedule button to see the required classes for each individual company. *If you are interested in the hip hop company the only requirement is the appropriate aged hip hop class.

A little bit about our competitive company
BLDC's competition company was established in 2008. The company is made up of dancers ages 5-18 years old with varied dance backgrounds. We have a performance company, specializing in Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical theaters, etc., and a separate Hip Hop company. The company does an average of 4 regional competitions and a nationals, as well as, conventions.

Our studio, as well as the company, is fully inclusive to everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, size, etc.. We pride ourselves on having extremely talented dancers but, also humble, kind, and hard working dancers as well. Good sportsmanship, hard work and a belief that we are only as strong as the team is our #1 principle. We are a very group oriented competition company, but also love to see our dancers shine individually.

BLDC has won many awards including, multiple ADCC awards for excellence, 2019 Industry Dance Award winner for Musical Theater, multiple IDA nominations, six time National Award winners and countless others.
